Elizabeth K. Collins, MD

I am from Larchmont NY and attended Ursuline High School and Denison University. I speak Spanish and lived in Madrid my junior year of college.  After college, I moved to Telluride, CO for 2 years and then attended CU-Boulder to complete pre-med courses before moving back to NYC for medical school at The Mount Sinai School of Medicine and residency at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. I am board certified in Pediatrics and I have been practicing in the Twin Cities since 2003. I have been at Pediatric Services since 2006. I live with my family in Minneapolis. In my free time I enjoy reading, yoga, traveling and spending time with my husband and boys.

                                                                                                                     Kelly J. Ishizuka, MD

Dr. Ishizuka was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She received her undergraduate degree from Williams College in Williamstown, Massachusetts, and went on to medical school at Ohio State University. She finished residency at the University of Minnesota in June, 2011. She is board certified in pediatrics. Dr. Ishizuka enjoys seeing children of all ages, particularly newborns and adolescents, and takes an interest in obesity and respiratory problems. In her free time, Dr. Ishizuka enjoys exercising, reading, walking her dogs, and most of all, spending time with her husband and her daughters.

                                                                                                              Kristin H. Johnson, MD

johnson Dr. Johnson is a native of south Minneapolis, where she went to high school at Minnehaha Academy. After undergraduate studies in biology and history at North Park University in Chicago, IL, she worked in pediatric virology research at the University of Minnesota and then attended Rush Medical School in Chicago. She completed her pediatric residency at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN in 2013. Board-certified in pediatrics, Dr. Johnson loves working with kids of all ages. Clinical interests include early childhood development, adolescent medicine, preventative care, and infectious disease. She is excited to be back in the Twin Cities with her husband and young son and daughter, where they enjoy the area's beautiful lakes, running trails, and grandparent babysitters.

                                                                                                                    Garrett M. Jones, MD

Jones

Dr. Jones was born in Columbus, Indiana and also lived in Nashville, TN and Chicago, IL before completing his undergraduate education at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He returned to Chicago to attend medical school at Rush Medical College and then moved to Minneapolis for his pediatric residency training at the University of Minnesota, which he completed in 2016. He is board certified in pediatrics, and his clinical interests include preventative medicine, asthma management and caring for medically complex children.
During residency, he quickly fell in love with the Twin Cities and now couldn’t imagine calling anywhere else home. Outside of the clinic, he enjoys                                           spending time with his wife and two daughters, hiking, traveling, golfing and trying new restaurants.

Rebecca L. Mahady, MD

I am a fully fledged Minnesotan and grew up in Winona, MN. I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota and went to medical school at the University of Minnesota Duluth. I completed Pediatric residency training at the University of Minnesota and am board certified. Since finishing residency in 2015, I have worked in Pediatrics doing primary care. I love working with children and their families because it allows me to see kids grow from sweet newborns to confident teens and their parents build confidence as their kids grow and thrive. I love being able to help where I can, through all phases of development.  My priorities include partnering with families to lead a healthy lifestyle, helping kids feel better when sick, and ensuring that patient and parent questions are answered. I enjoy caring for patients with a variety of chronic or complex medical conditions and mental health conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and depression. In my free time, I love having  fun with my husband and three kids. enjoy music, movies and making my kids giggle.

Melanie Lind- Ayres, MD

Lind-Ayres

Dr. Lind-Ayres was raised in the Twin Cities and attended college at Gustavus Adolphus majoring in biology and dance. She attended the University of Minnesota -Twin Cities for medical school, and ventured south to Emory University for residency training in Pediatrics.  After 1 year in pediatric nephrology training at the University of Minnesota, she worked at Park Nicollet as a general pediatrician from 2010-2023.  She has a special interest in caring for newborns, children with chronic conditions such as asthma, adolescents, and those with mental health conditions. Dr. Lind-Ayers lives in St. Louis Park with her spouse and three children. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, exercising, gardening, connecting/volunteering at her church, and watching new movies.

Kirsten R. Morse, CPNP

Kirsten Morse is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (PNP) who grew up in the Twin Cities area and received her Bachelor of Arts in Nursing at Gustavus Adolphus College. She attended graduate school at the University of Minnesota, receiving her Master of Science degree in 2009. Kirsten has special interests in childhood obesity, nutrition, asthma and lactation support. Kirsten is also a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. She comes to Pediatric Services from a long-standing employment at Children’s Hospital and Clinics in both Minneapolis and St. Paul, where she worked as both a pediatric nurse as well as a PNP Hospitalist. She also enjoys staying active in a variety of fitness activities, and spending time with family and friends, especially her husband and three children.



Kirsten N. Dougherty, CPNP

Kirsten is a board certified primary care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in the Twin Cities area and attended the University of Minnesota Morris for her undergraduate degree, and the University of Minnesota Twin Cities for her Master of Nursing degree (2012) and Doctor of Nursing Practice degree (2017). Prior to joining Pediatric Services in 2022, she worked as a nurse in Pediatric Blood and Marrow Transplant at the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital for 5 years and then spent 4 years working as a nurse practitioner at another local pediatric clinic. She is a Certified Lactation Specialist and also completed a graduate minor in integrative health and healing. Her practice interests include lactation, nutrition, integrative medicine, environmental and food allergies, and public health. In her spare time, she loves to play volleyball, travel, hike, enjoy theater and live music, and spend time with her husband, son, and 2 dogs.


Jamie L. Omann, CPNP

Jamie is a Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. She grew up in Central Minnesota and received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Nursing from the College of Saint Benedict, followed by a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Minnesota. Jamie joins Pediatric Services with extensive experience from her time at Children’s Minnesota (St. Paul and Minneapolis), where she worked as a nurse practitioner in primary and specialty care for over a decade. Jamie enjoys guiding children and families through wellness, disease prevention, and illness management from infancy to young adulthood, covering every milestone in between. She holds special interests in behavioral and mental health, as well as in caring for children with special healthcare needs. Jamie lives in Saint Paul with her spouse and three children. She loves exploring new places with her family, being outdoors, gardening, and enjoying the lakes of Minnesota.
